Bu çalışma, ev kazaları konusunda farkındalık yaratmada Ev Kazaları Farkındalık Resim Kartları (EVREKA)’nın güvenilirlik ve geçerliliğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Bu metodolojik çalışmanın evrenini, 3 Aralık 2018–29 Mart 2019 tarihleri arasında İstanbul İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü Aile Sağlığı Merkezlerine kayıtlı, 0-5 yaş arası çocuğu olan anneler oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemi, İstanbul’un 39 ilçesini yaşam kalitesine göre sıralayan Şeker’in (2016) araştırması temel alınarak belirlenmiştir.

This study was conducted to determine the reliability and validity of the Picture Cards Raising Awareness of Home Accidents (EVREKA) in creating awareness of home accidents.Method: The population of this methodological study consisted of mothers registered at the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate Family Health Centers between December 3, 2018, and March 29, 2019, who had children aged 0-5 years. The sample of the study was determined based on Şeker&#039;s 2016 research, which ranked Istanbul&#039;s 39 districts according to quality of life. Using the systematic sampling method, eight districts (Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Küçükçekmece, Pendik, Kağıthane, Avcılar, Silivri, Şile) were selected, and 433 mothers who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study were included in the sample. Results: Slightly over half (55.4%) of the children were boys, with a mean age of 2.48±1.61 years. The mothers had an average age of 32.97±5.68 years. The correlation coefficients of EVREKA were found to be highly significant, and the internal consistency measures, such as Cronbach&#039;s alpha and KR20 reliability coefficients, were also found to be highly significant. Additionally, the agreement between test and retest scores was determined to be highly significant (p</p>
