Giriş Hemodiyaliz merkezleri/üniteleri acil böbrek yetmezliği son dönem kronik böbrek yetmezliği tanısı konulmuş hastalara yaşamlarını idame ettirebilmeleri için kurgulanmış özel prosedürleri, farklı geri ödeme planları olan, diyalize özel eğitim almış hekim ve hekim dışı personelden oluşan özel bir birimlerdir. Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu(SGK) anlaşması olan hastanelerde Hizmet Kalite Standartları (HKS) kullanımı hizmet sözleşmelerinden dolayı zorunludur. Ancak diyaliz merkezleri için zorunlu olarak uygulanacak Hizmet kalite sistemi yoktur. Amaç: Türkiye’de hizmet veren diyaliz merkezleri/ünitelerinin uyguladığı Kalite yönetim sistemlerini belirleyip, lokal diyaliz merkezlerinin kalite yönetim sistemi ihtiyaçlarını belirlemek. Bulgular: Türkiye’de 850 tane diyaliz merkezi/ünitesi vardır. Hastane içinde bulunan diyaliz ünitelerinin sayısı tek başına merkezlerden fazladır. Ancak tedavi ve takip edilen hasta sayısına bakıldığında toplam diyaliz merkezi sayısının %41 oluşturan lokal diyaliz merkezleri toplam hastaların %63'nü tedavi ettiği görülmektedir. Hastane içinde bulunan diyaliz merkezleri/ünitelerinin Sağlık Bakanlığı ve Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumunun istekleri doğrultusunda en az bir kalite sistemine dahil olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Lokal diyaliz merkezleri için ise hem Sağlık Bakanlığı hem de Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu’nun zorunlu kıldığı bir kalite sistemi yoktur. Hasta güvenliği ve çalışan güvenliği açısından lokal diyaliz merkezleri için Kalite yönetim sistemi oluşturulmalıdır.
Introduction Hemodialysis centers/units are specific units which have fictionalized particular procedures and different repayment schedules for patients diagnosed with acute kidney failure and end-stage chronic kidney failure so that they can live on, and which consist of physicians and non-physician stuff who have received special training in dialysis. Use of Service Quality Standards (SQS) in the hospitals having agreement with Social Security Institution (SGK) is imperative by virtue of service contracts. However there is not a service quality system to be necessarily applied for dialysis centers. Purpose: To Determine the Quality Management Systems applied by dialysis centers/units which provide services in Turkey and to specify the Quality Management Systems needs of local dialysis centers. Findings: There are 850 dialysis centers / units in Turkey. The number of dialysis units inside the hospital is higher than the centers. However when it comes to examine the number of patients treated and followed up, it’s observed that the local dialysis centers which constitute 41% of total number of dialysis centers have been treating 63% of total patients. It has been determined that the dialysis centers / units are included in at least one quality system in accordance with the requests of the Ministry of Health and the Social Security Institution. Conclusion: For local dialysis centers, there is not a quality system obliged by both the Ministry of Health and the Social Security Institution. With regard to patient safety and employee safety, Quality management system should be constituted for local dialysis centers.
