Bu çalışmada; kostüm tasarımı açısından çizgi romanlardan uyarlanan filmlerdeki karakterlerinyansıtılma biçimleri ve giysilerinde gözlenen değişimlerinin irdelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada yöntemolarak; nitel yöntem tercih edilmiş ve betimsel incelemeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Amaç doğrultusunda,popüler çizgi roman filmleri olan Marvel’s Avengers ve Avengers: Age of Ultron filmlerinde başrollerde yeralan Black Widow ve Captain America karakterleri seçilmiştir. Karakterlerin belirlenen film çıkış tarihlerisürecinde çizgi romanlarda kullandıkları kostüm tasarımları incelenmiş ve film kostüm özellikleri ilekarşılaştırılmıştır. Verilerin incelenmesi; araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan kostüm tasarım analiz formuile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Formun künye olarak adlandırılan ilk bölümünde; karakterlerin adı, kostümlerinyayın formatlara göre yayın bilgileri ve kostüm görselleri bulunmaktadır. İkinci bölüm olan kostümlerinanalizi bölümünde; giysilerin teknik ve simgesel özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın; kostüm tasarımcılarıiçin farkı mecralardan uyarlanan karakterlerin yansıtılma biçimlerini incelemesi ve esinlenen kaynaklardoğrultusunda tasarımcıların yaratıcılıklarını kullanmasına yardımcı olarak konuya dikkat çekmesi açısındanönemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the ways of projection of characters in films adapted fromcomics and their changes observed in their clothing in terms of costume design, As a method in the study;qualitative method was preferred and descriptive studies were carried out. For this purpose, the charactersBlack Widow and Captain America who played leading roles in the popular comic book movies such asMarvel’s Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron were selected. The costume designs used by the charactersin the comics during the determined movie release dates were examined and compared with the moviecostume features. Data analysis was carried out with the costume analysis form prepared by the researchers.In the first part of the form titled as info; the names of the characters, information according to the publicationformats and the costume visuals were presented. In the second part titled as the costume analysis section;the technical and symbolic features of the costumes were examined. It is thought that the study is importantfor costume designers to examine the ways of reflecting characters adapted from different media, helpingdesigners use their creativity in line with inspired sources while draw attention to the subject.
