In this study, we have scrutinized postmodern art’s and modern art’s fundamental elements which creates the perception of contemporary art , findings have been compared with the art of calligraphy. At the beginning of the twentieth century art world has launch the period of the new tendencies by means of modern art.However, both using methodology and findings have brought with it reaction.As a result of increasing reactions and opposite discourse, new perception and methodology have come out called postmodern art.All these concerns have created many artisitc movements but all of which resulted in meaninglessness and crisis. We have examined in the course of this process ,calligraphy has been compared with modern and postmodern art ; what the differences modernpostmodern art between caligraphy or what the similarities modern-postmodern art to caligraphy are.
Bu çalışmada, günümüz sanat algısını oluşturan postmodern sanat ve öncesinde modern sanat, ana unsurları ile incelenmiş, bulgular hat sanatı ile karşılaştırılmıştır. 20. yüzyılın başlarında sanat dünyası, modern sanat ile yeni arayışlar dönemini başlatmıştır. Ne var ki hem yöntem hem de bulgular, tepkileri beraberinde getirmiştir. Artan tepki ve karşıt söylemler postmodern sanat adıyla yeni bir algı ve yöntem doğurmuştur. Tüm bu arayışlar pek çok sanat akımını oluşturmuş, fakat anlamsızlık ve krizle de sonuçlanmıştır. İncelediğimiz bu süreçte hat sanatının, modern sanat ve postmodern sanat algısı ile paralellikleri-ayrım noktaları saptanmaya çalışılmıştır.
