                            <p>In this article, the development stages of the &quot;Meta Literacy Self-Efficacy Scale&quot; (MLSE) developed to measure meta literacy self-efficacy are explained. While there were 20 items in the draft form of the MLSS, which was prepared as a single five-point Likert-type form, the number of items in the form was reduced to 17 as a result of the preliminary application and analyzes. Evidence of the reliability and validity of the five-point Meta Literacy Self-Efficacy Scale was obtained and the scale was made ready for use. In addition, although the concept of meta literacy has been discussed in the international literature since 2011, it has not yet found its place in the Turkish literature. Through this study, it is also aimed to introduce the concept to the Turkish literature.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu makalede meta okuryazarlığı özyeterliliğini ölçmek için geliştirilen “Meta Okuryazarlığı Özyeterlilik Ölçeği”nin (MOÖÖ) geliştirme aşamaları anlatılmıştır. Beş dereceli likert tipinde tek form olarak hazırlanan MOÖÖ’nün taslak formunda 20 madde yer alırken; gerçekleştirilen ön uygulama ve analizler neticesinde formdaki madde sayısı 17’ye inmiştir. Beş dereceli Meta Okuryazarlığı Özyeterlilik Ölçeği’nin güvenilirlik ve geçerliliğine ait kanıtlara ulaşılarak, ölçek kullanıma hazır hale getirilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra meta okuryazarlığı kavramı 2011 yılından itibaren uluslararası literatürde tartışılmasına rağmen henüz Türkçe literatürde kendine yer bulamamış bir kavramdır. Bu çalışma aracılığı ile kavramın Türkçe literatüre kazandırılması da amaçlanmıştır.</p></abstract>
