Evaluation of activity score and kinesiophobia at anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

Öz

PURPOSE: The aim of this study was to investigate the Tegner activity score and Tampa kinesiophobia scala at early period following anterior cruriate ligament reconstruction.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Totally 12 male who had unilateral ACL reconstuction, followed regularly and had Lysholm knee score above 84 at final controls (minimum postoperative 6th month) participated in the study. 12 male patients'mean age were 30.0±6.8 years, mean height were 177.8±9.8 cm, mean body weight were 79.3±13.7 kg.
Patients' activity score was evaluated by Tegner activity score and kinesiophobia was evaluated by Tampa kinesiophobia scala. Pre rupture activity score and kinesiophobia results were achieved after operation at postoperative first day. Final activity score and kinesiophobia results were achieved at final control. Pre rupture and final results score was recorded.
RESULTS: The mean follow-up was 13.5±7.2 months. Patients' score of Tegner activity were pre rupture 6.7±1.6, while the final results decreased to 4.1±1.9. There was significantly difference (p=0,01). Patients' score of Tampa kinesiophobia were pre rupture 40±7.5, while the final results decreased to 41.3±5.8. There was not significantly difference (p=0,69).
CONCLUSION: Our results show that patients' had normal knee fonction and had not kinesiophobia although they didn't return the pre rupture levels of sports.
At the post operative period patients' are supported for return the pre rupture levels of sports.

Ön çapraz bağ rekonstrüksiyonu geçiren hastalarda kinezyofobinin ve aktivite skorunun değerlendirilmesi

Öz

ÖZET
AMAÇ: Bu çalışmada ön çapraz bağ rekonstrüksiyonu yapılan hastaların kinezyofobilerinin ve aktivite skorlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
MATERYAL-METOD: Post operatif akut dönemden itibaren düzenli takipleri yapılıp spora geri dönüş kararının verilebilmesi için en az postoperatif 6.ayının dolduran ve spora geri dönüş kararının alınması planlanan klinik kontrolünde Lysholm diz skoru 84'ün üstünde olan 12 erkek hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastaların yaş ortalaması 30.0±6.8 yıl, boy uzunluğu ortalaması 177.8±9.8 cm, vücut ağırlığı ortalaması 79.3±13.7 kg idi.
Hastaların aktivite düzeyleri Tegner Aktivite Skoru ile, kinezyofobileri Tampa Kinezyofobi Ölçeği ile değerlendirildi. Postoperatif 1.günde hastaların, rüptür öncesindeki aktivite düzeyleri sorgulandı ve rüptür öncesindeki düşüncelerine göre kinezyofobi ölçeğini işaretlemeleri istendi. Spora geri dönüş kararının alınması planlanan klinik kontrolünde ise mevcut aktivite düzeyleri belirlendi ve mevcut düşüncelerine göre kinezyofobi ölçeği tekrarlanıp kaydedildi.
BULGULAR: Hastaların ortalama takip süresi 13.5±7.2 aydı. Rüptür öncesi 6.7±1.6 olan Tegner Aktivite Skoru ortalaması, son kontrolde 4.1±1.9 olup istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir azalma saptandı (p=0,01). Rüptür öncesi 40±7.5 olan Tampa Kinezyofobi Ölçeği ortalaması, son kontrolde 41.3±5.8 idi ve istatistiksel anlamlı fark bulunmadı (p=0,69).
SONUÇ: Bizim sonuçlarımıza göre hastaların diz fonksiyonlarının normale dönmüş olduğu ve kinezyofobilerinin olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ancak hastaların rüptür öncesine aktivite seviyelerine çıkmadıkları gözlemlenmiştir. Post operatif rehabilitasyon sürecinde, hastalar rüptür öncesi aktivite düzeylerine ulaşmaları için desteklenmelidir.
