This study was conductedto evaluate the hypothesis that hand anthropometryis associated with grip strength and dexterity amongyoung adults.Material and Method197 healthy students between the ages of 18-25 includedin the study. The socio-demographic informationof the participants, including age, height, body weight, and gender, was recorded. As a hand anthropometricmeasurement, hand length, hand width, hand spamlength, finger length, and palm length were measuredwith a tape measure. Handgrip strength was evaluatedwith a handgrip dynamometer, and dexterity wasevaluated with the Nine-Hole Peg Test (NHPT).ResultsAccording to the results of our study, it was determinedthat all anthropometric measurements and gripstrength values and the NHPT insertion scores ofboth upper extremities were significantly higher inmen than in women (p</p></trans-abstract>
