                                                                                                <abstract><p>Diastematomiyeli, spinal kordun yarılmasıyla ortayaçıkan, fibröz veya kemik bir septum ile ayrılabilen iki hemikord oluşumunaneden olan, nadir bir okült spinal disrafizmdir. Diastematomiyeli izoleolabileceği gibi, miyelomeningosel, meningosel, spinal lipom, dermal sinüs,vertebral cisimlerin diğer segmental anomalileri veya viseral malformasyonlargibi diğer disrafizmlerle ilişkili olabilir. Bu malformasyonun izole formu iyiprognoza sahiptir. Bu nedenle, diastematomiyeli saptandığında doğru ebeveyndanışmanlığı sağlamak için, diğer anomalileri dışlamak adına prenataldeğerlendirme dikkatle yapılmalıdır. Dikkatli sonografik inceleme ilediastematomiyelinin prenatal tanısı mümkündür. Spinal kanalda ekstra ekojenikposterior odak saptanması, bu durum için oldukça spesifik bir prenatalişarettir. MRG, diğer ilişkili malformasyonları dışlamak için faydalıdır. İzolediastematomiyeli, çok az veya ilişkisiz defisitle ortaya çıkabilir. Buradarutin ikinci trimester sonografisinde tespit edilen izole bir diastematomiyeliolgusu sunulmaktadır.</p></abstract>
