Diyapoz Öncesi Beslemenin Bombus terrestris Ana Arılarının Diyapoz Sonrası Koloni Oluşturma Başarısı Üzerine Etkisi

Öz

Bu çalışma Bombus terrestris ana arılarının
diyapoza konulmadan önce beslenmelerinin diyapoz sonrası koloni oluşturma
başarısı üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Araştırmada çiftleştirildikten hemen sonra beslenmeden diyapoza konulan ana arı
grubu (Grup 1), çiftleştirildikten sonra 3 gün beslenerek diyapoza konulan ana
arı grubu (Grup 2) ve çiftleştirildikten sonra 7 gün beslenerek diyapoza
konulan ana arı grubu (Grup 3) olmak üzere
3
farklı grup oluşturulmuştur. İ
kinci ve üçüncü gruptaki ana arılar diyapoza
konulmadan önce bireysel beslenme kutularına yerleştirilmiş ve şeker şurubu ile
ad-libitum olarak beslenmişlerdir. Sonuçlar B.
terrestris arısının kitlesel üretiminde ana arıların diyapoz öncesi
beslenmesinin bu ana arıların koloni oluşturma performansı ve kolonilere ait
bazı gelişim özelliklerini etkilediğini göstermiştir. En yüksek yumurtlama
oranı (%90,0) diyapoz öncesinde beslenmeyen ana arı grubunda gözlenirken, en
yüksek tozlaşmaya uygun koloni oluşturma oranı (%70,0) diyapoz öncesinde 7 gün
beslenen ana arı grubunda gerçekleşmiştir.

Effects of Pre-Diapause Feeding on Colony Foundation Success in Bombus terrestris Queens

Öz

This study was carried out to determine the effects of pre-diapause feeding on colony foundation success after diapause in Bombus terrestris queens. Three experimental groups were formed in the study: group of queens which were not fed after mating and put in to diapause (Group 1), group of queens which were fed during the 3 days after mating and put in to diapause (Group 2), and group of queens which were fed during the 7 days after mating and put in to diapause (Group 3). Queens in second and third groups were put into individual feeding boxes and were fed ad-libitum with sugar syrup before diapause. According to results, pre-diapause feeding of queens affected their colony foundation success and some colony developmental traits in mass rearing of B. terrestris. The highest egg laying ratio (90.0%) was determined in group of queens which were not fed before diapause, while the highest pollinator colony production ratio (70.0%) was found in queens which were fed during the 7 days before diapause.
