                            <p>Bu araştırma Erdemli ekolojik şartlarında, 1991 ve 1992 yıllarında farklı bitki sıklıklarının ikinci ürün olarak yetiştirilen iki cin mısırı populasyonunun dane verimi ve verim unsurları üzerine etkilerini tespit amacıyla yütürülmüştür. Bölünmüş parseller deneme desenine göre iki tekerrürlü olarak kurulan bu araştırmada, ana parsellere cin mısırı populasyonları (I ve II), alt parsellere bitki sıklıkları (5000, 6666, 10000 ve 20000 bitki/da) tesadüfi olarak yerleştirilmiştir. Maksimum dane verimi 1991 ve 1992 yıllarında sırasıyla 1021 ve 817 kg/da ile 6666 bitki/da (50 x 30 cm) ekim sıklığında tespit edilmiştir. Bu ra- kamlar, ikinci ürün olarak cin mısır populasyonlarının bu ekolojide yüksek verim potansiyellerini ortaya koymaktadır. Verim komponentleri de genellikle bitki sıklıkları tarafından etkilenmiş olup, 6666 bitki/da ekim sıklığında genellikle optimum seviyede olmuş ve kendi aralarında bir dengeye ulaşmışlardır.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>This research was conducted to determine the effects of different plant densities on yield and yield components of two pop corn population as a second crop under Erdemli ecological conditions in 1991 and 1992. In this research which was arrenged in the &quot;split plot experimental design&quot; with two replications, pop corn populations (I and II) were placed into main plots and plant densities (5000, 6000, 10000 and 20000 plant.da-1) were placed into subplots by chance. Maximum grain yield was obtained in plots which were applied 6666 plant da-1 (50 x 30 cm) with 1021 and 817 kg da-1 respectively both 1991 and 1992. These datas shows the high yield potantial of pop corn populations as a second crop in this ecology. Generally yield components were also effected by plant densities, they were optimum level at sowing densities of 6666 plant da-1 and reached a balance each other.</p></abstract>
