                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu makale&amp;nbsp;Küf&amp;nbsp;(Ali Aydın, 2012),&amp;nbsp;Yozgat Blues&amp;nbsp;(Mahmut Fazıl Coşkun, 2013) ve&amp;nbsp;Ben O Değilim(Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, 2013) filmlerinde Ercan Kesal’ın canlandırdığı erkek karakterleri Judith Butler’ın performatif toplumsal cinsiyet kuramı ile çözümlemeyi hedefleyerek, bu bağlamda filmlerde sergilenen erkekliğin sabit ve öze dayalı bir konumda olmadığını, çoklu erkekliklerin değişim ve yeniden imleme ile mümkün olabileceğini göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Makale, erkek karakterlerin tekrarların oluşturduğu yinelenebilirliğe atıfla performatif toplumsal cinsiyeti nasıl kullandıklarına ve filmlerin sonunda yaşadıkları değişimle nasıl yeni bir idrak edilebilirlik içinde kaldıklarına odaklanmaktadır. Başarı ve/ veya başarısızlıkla sonuçlanan eylemlerinin sonucunda karakterlerin kendilerini yeniden anlamlandırma olanağı ile başbaşa kalması, erkekliklerin doğal ve değişmez olmadığını, değişime açık olduğunu göstermektedir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>In the frame of Judith Butler’s performative gender theory, this article analyzes the male characters, represented by Ercan Kesal, in&amp;nbsp;Küf&amp;nbsp;(Ali Aydın, 2012),&amp;nbsp;Yozgat Blues&amp;nbsp;(Mahmut Fazıl Coşkun, 2013) and&amp;nbsp;Ben O Değilim&amp;nbsp;(Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, 2013) to show that masculinity is not innate and predetermined, but multiple, subject to change and resignification. The article focuses on how these male characters use performative gender with reference to iteration and new intelligibility by the end of each film, subsequent to the changes they have experienced. As a result of their success and/or failure, the characters are left with the possibility of resignification, showing that masculinity is not stable, but multiple and inclined to change.</p></trans-abstract>
