Filmler bir yandan yaşamın her alanına yayılan iktidar ilişkilerine dair uzlaşının imgelerini yeniden üretirken diğer yandan bu ilişkilerin normalliğini sorgulayan, bunları reddeden, uzlaşı duvarını çeşitli biçimlerde çatlatan ve başka türlü bir yaşamın mümkünlüğünü sezdiren imgeleri de yeniden üretirler. Bu sorgulama ve süregelene ret hali filmlerdeki çeşitli mekân imgeleri üzerinden izlenebilir. Elif Refiğ’in yönettiği Ferahfeza (2013) filminde karakterlerin özellikle mekân ile kurdukları ilişki mikro-politik bir bakış açısıyla aktarılır. Çalışma kapsamında söz konusu filmde yer alan karakterleri başka bir yaşam düşüne iten motivasyonların neler olduğu ve bu düşün filmdeki heterotopik mekân imgeleri ile olan ilişkisi ele alınır. Heterotopik mekân imgelerinin, bu bağlamda, iktidarın mekânlarından düş kurmanın ve bu düşü gerçekleştirmenin mekânlarına geçişte nasıl bir role sahip olduğu film kapsamında tartışılır. Filmdeki mekân imgelerinin nasıl bir kent tasavvuruna denk düştüğü sorunsalıyla bağlantılı olarak, bir kenti deneyimlemede terrain vague’lerin işaret ettiği düşünsel ve eylemsel evrenin izleri sürülür.
Movies produce images of consensus concerning power relations that cover all aspects of life, while also promoting images that question the normality of these relations, rejecting them, cracking the wall of consensus while suggesting that a different way of life is possible. This questioning and rejection of the status quo can be followed through images of various spaces presented in films. In Ferahfeza (2013), directed by Elif Refiğ, the relationships of his characters with certain places are described from a micro-political perspective. The study focuses on the motivations that lead Refiğ’s characters to dream of different lives, including the relationship that these dreams have with images of heterotopic spaces in the film. In this context, it discusses the role of heterotopic space images in the transition from spaces of power to places of daydreaming and the realization of daydreams. The intellectual and operational universe pointed out by terrain vague in an imagined experience of a city are discussed in terms of the relationship of filmed images to actual urban imagery.
