                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Bu araştırmanın amacı, devlet okullarında çalışan fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin 21. yüzyıl becerilerine yönelik özyeterlilik algılarını belirlemektir. Fen öğretim programlarında yer alan 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin kazandırılmasına yardımcı olan Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin bu becerileri kazandırabilecek yeterlilikte olup olmadığını anlamak ve bu becerilerden ne anladıklarını tespit etmek önem kazanmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından biri olan tarama modellerinden kesitsel tarama kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarda çalışan 313 fen bilimleri öğretmeni katılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında demografik bilgi anketi ve Anagün vd. (2016) tarafından geliştirilen ‘21.Yüzyıl Becerileri Yeterlilik Algı Ölçeği’ kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri SPSS 21 programı yardımıyla çözümlenmiştir. Veri çözümlenmesi aşamasında ilk olarak verilerin normal dağılımına bakılmıştır. Ölçek toplam ve alt boyut puanları normal dağılım göstermediğinden non-parametrik testler yardımıyla analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre devlet okullarında çalışan fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin 21.yüzyıl becerileri özyeterlilik algılarının yüksek bir düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin 21.yüzyıl becerileri yeterlilik algılarının cinsiyete, mezun olunan program ve çalıştıkları okulların bulunduğu bölgeye göre farklılaştığı fakat hizmet yılı ve öğrenim durumuna göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. Mevcut araştırmada nicel veriler toplanarak durum tespiti yapılmıştır. İlerde yapılacak çalışmalarda nicel veriler elde edilen bilgilerin derinlemesine araştırılması için nitel verilerle desteklenebilir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of science teachers working in public schools regarding 21st-century skills. It is important to understand whether science teachers, who help students acquire 21st-century skills included in science teaching programs, are competent enough to impart these skills and to determine what they understand these skills to be. In the study, cross-sectional survey, one of the quantitative research approaches, was used.. A total of 313 science teachers working in public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in different regions of Turkey participated in the study. A demographic information questionnaire and the ‘21st Century Skills Competency Perception Scale’ developed by Anagün et al. (2016) were used to collect data for the study. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 21 program. During the data analysis phase, the normal distribution of the data was first examined. Since the scale total and subscale scores did not show a normal distribution, analyses were performed using non-parametric tests. According to the results of the study, it was determined that science teachers working in public schools have a high level of self-efficacy perception of 21st-century skills. It was observed that science teachers&#039; perceptions of their 21st-century skills competence varied according to gender, the program from which they graduated, and the region where their schools were located, but did not vary according to years. In the current study, quantitative data was collected to determine the situation. In future studies, quantitative data can be supported by qualitative data to investigate the information obtained in depth.</p></trans-abstract>
