<p>This study examines the views of gifted high school students on how artificial intelligence could shape the future of education. The study employed a basic qualitative research design. Data was collected through semi-structured questions in a focus group interview with 10 gifted students. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results revealed that the participants viewed artificial intelligence as a supportive tool rather than something that could replace teachers. It was determined that they found this advantageous in personalized learning and objective assessment processes. However it was stated that artificial intelligence has limitations in areas such as ethics, access and creativity. As a recommendation, the use of artificial intelligence in education should be designed with an understanding that does not sideline the teacher. Principles such as equal access and data security should be prioritized when developing artificial intelligence systems. Hybrid assessment models should be developed. Artificial intelligence content should be structured to encourage students&#039; creativity and ethical thinking skills.</p></trans-abstract>
