Bu araştırma, Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (TFF) tarafından yürütülen Antrenör Eğitim Programları’na katılan futbol antrenör adaylarının eğitim sürecine dair algılarını ve deneyimlerini nitel araştırma yöntemiyle incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın kapsamını, Ankara’da 2025 yılında UEFA C lisans eğitimi alan 25 antrenör adayının sürece dair görüşleri oluşturmaktadır. Nitel desende, fenomenolojik yaklaşım benimsenmiş; veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla yüz yüze görüşmelerle toplanmıştır. Katılımcılar, formal ve informal öğrenme süreçleri bağlamında eğitimin teorik, uygulamalı, örgütsel ve değerlendirme boyutlarına ilişkin eleştiriler ve katkı algılarını dile getirmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde elde edilen veriler yedi ana tema altında analiz edilmiştir: hazırlık süreci algısı, teorik eğitimin yeterliliği, uygulamalı eğitim eleştirisi, değerlendirme yaklaşımı, eğitmen niteliği, organizasyon kalitesi ve genel memnuniyet. Katılımcılar hazırlık sürecinin yetersizliğini, teorik eğitimlerin içerik tekrarına dayalı ve etkileşimsiz yapısını, uygulamalı derslerin ise malzeme ve süre bakımından eksik olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Değerlendirme süreci ezbere dayalı ve uygulamadan uzak bulunmuş; eğitmenlerin alan bilgisi yeterli ancak pedagojik becerilerinin zayıf olduğu belirtilmiştir. Organizasyonel anlamda fiziksel mekân yetersizlikleri, bilgi akışı sorunları ve iletişim eksiklikleri vurgulanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, katılımcıların bir kısmı sürecin kişisel gelişimlerine katkı sağladığını belirtmiştir. Çalışma, mevcut antrenör eğitim sisteminin içeriğinin geliştirilmesi ve uygulama süreçlerinin yeniden yapılandırılması gerektiğine işaret etmektedir. Uygulamalı eğitimin güçlendirilmesi, değerlendirme yöntemlerinin bütüncül hale getirilmesi ve eğitici kadronun iletişim becerileri açısından desteklenmesi önerilmektedir. Bu yönüyle araştırma, futbol antrenörlerinin mesleki gelişimini destekleyecek daha nitelikli ve sürdürülebilir bir eğitim modelinin oluşturulmasına katkı sağlamayı hedeflemektedir.
This research aims to examine the perceptions and experiences of football coach candidates who participated in the Coach Education Programs conducted by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding the education process using a qualitative research method. The scope of the research consists of the opinions of 25 coach candidates who received UEFA C undergraduate education in Ankara in 2025. In the qualitative design, a phenomenological approach was adopted; data were collected through face-to-face interviews using a semi-structured interview form. Participants expressed their criticisms and perceptions of contributions regarding the theoretical, practical, organizational and evaluation dimensions of education in the context of formal and informal learning processes. The data obtained during the research process were analyzed under seven main themes: perception of the preparation process, adequacy of theoretical education, criticism of practical education, evaluation approach, trainer qualification, organizational quality and general satisfaction. Participants stated that the preparation process was inadequate, theoretical trainings were based on content repetition and were non-interactive, and practical courses were insufficient in terms of material and duration. The evaluation process was found to be based on memorization and far from practice; it was stated that the trainers had sufficient field knowledge but weak pedagogical skills. Insufficient physical space, information flow problems and communication deficiencies were emphasized in terms of organization. However, some of the participants stated that the process contributed to their personal development. The study points out that the content of the current coach training system should be developed and the implementation processes should be restructured. It is recommended that practical training should be strengthened, evaluation methods should be made holistic and the trainers should be supported in terms of communication skills. In this respect, the research aims to contribute to the creation of a more qualified and sustainable training model that will support the professional development of football coaches.
