Safety in preschool institutions is a fundamental variable that enables children to participate in the learning process with confidence by protecting their physical and emotional well-being. The main objective of this study is to determine how parents evaluate the perception of safety in preschool education institutions and to reveal their needs and expectations. The aim of the study is to examine parental awareness of the institutions' safety practices, to evaluate opinions regarding the adequacy of current practices, and to contribute to the strengthening of safe learning environments. The research was conducted using a case study design within the scope of qualitative research methods. Participants consisted of 15 parents selected through convenience sampling from among the parents of children attending preschool institutions in the Anamur district of Mersin province. During the data collection process, an 8-question semi-structured interview form was used and analyzed through content analysis. The results of the study show that parents evaluate safety perception not only in terms of physical measures but also in terms of teacher and staff attitudes, communication processes, and the child's emotional safety.
