Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct, DergiPark ve Google Scholar veri tabanlarında taranarak 493 makaleye ulaşılmış, PICOS kriterlerini karşılayan 8 makale çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir.

<p>Objective: This systematic review aimed to examine the effects of simulation-based education on nursing students’ learning, skill acquisition, and satisfaction levels in teaching public health nursing practices. Methods: This study is a systematic review conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A total of 493 articles were identified through searches of the Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, DergiPark, and Google Scholar databases, and eight studies that met the PICOS criteria were included in the review. Results: The reviewed studies indicated that simulation-based interventions were implemented in six different community-based practice settings, including home visits, home care, examination rooms for infectious diseases, mosque polyclinics, workplace environments, and school settings. Simulation-based education was found to have positive effects on nursing students’ learning outcomes, including knowledge level, learning self-confidence, critical thinking, learning process, and academic achievement. Additionally, it had positive effects on skill-related outcomes, such as diagnostic reasoning, communication, counseling, and self-efficacy skills, as well as on student satisfaction. The duration of simulation scenarios ranged from a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 9 hours. Conclusion: The findings suggest that simulation-based practices in public health nursing education may positively affect nursing students’ learning outcomes, skill acquisition, and satisfaction.</p></trans-abstract>
