Abstract

Bu bildiride, Porsuk Havzasının küçük hidroelektrik enerji potansiyeli araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, çalışma alanı Porsuk Havzası seçilmiştir.
Araştırmada, Porsuk Çayı ve yan kolları üzerinde yeni planlaması yapılabilecek küçük hidroelektrik santrallerin yapılabilir olup olmadıkları
araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, Uzaktan Algılama (UA) ve Coğrafi Bilgi sistemleri (CBS) ile 1/25.000’lik vektör ve Raster haritalar kullanılarak, uygun
baraj yerlerinin tespiti yapılmıştır. Arazide bu yerlerin topoğrafik, zemin ve jeolojik bakımından uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Bütün Porsuk Havzası
dikkate alındığında, Porsuk Çayı ve yan kolları üzerinde planlaması öngörülebilecek 8 adet bölgede, yeni baraj yapımına uygun yerler tespit
edilmiştir. Porsuk Havzasındaki toplam su potansiyeli kullanılarak, 5,92 MW kurulu güç ile 24,22 GWh/yıl elektrik üretilebileceği hesaplanmıştır.

Abstract

In this paper, the small hydropower potential of the Porsuk River Basin has been investigated. For this purpose, Porsuk River Basin has been selected as the research area. In this research, the feasibility of the possible small hydropower plants that can be planned on the Porsuk Creek and its side branches have been investigated. In this study, the suitable locations of the dams are determined by using Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques with the cover of 1/25.000 scale vector and raster maps. The suitability of these locations in terms of topography, soil and geology were investigated on the terrain. When the whole Porsuk River Basin is considered, suitable locations for the constructions of new dams have been determined on the main stream and side branches in 8 possible regions. It has been calculated that 24,22 GWh/yr electricity can be produced with the 5,92 MW of installed power by using the total water potential in the Porsuk Basin
