<p>In addition to the traditional peace-building efforts, taking into account the variables such as culture, values , and beliefs, peacebuilding studies have been an important field of research until today, with the efforts of the United Nations (UN) term president B. Boutros Ghali in 1992. Peacebuilding progresses as a joint society-building and sustainable peace project carried out at different stages of conflict, pre-conflict, process, and post-conflict. The conflicting parties are involved in ensuring justice, rebuilding institutions, punishing offenders, etc. It can be considered as a process that includes their involvement in the solution stages. Peacebuilding processes, as the name suggests, are not independent of people&#039;s beliefs, identities, and personalities. At this point, religion, which is believed in different dimensions, stands before us as an important factor in peacebuilding. Religion deeply affects the individual, groups, and society through the discourse, practice, spirituality, and teachings it produces. Peacebuilding, which can be read as changing the existing state of society, intersects with religion in this aspect and can achieve common goals. Sociology of Religion, which is a science that examines the relations of religion with society, Social Psychology, which examines the conflicts between groups and their causes, and International Relations, which investigates which factors are effective in building peace, are fields that can act together to establish common solutions. In this context, the main problem of the study is to examine the relationship between peacebuilding and the Sociology of Religion. The aim of the study is to discuss how the sociology of religion can contribute to peace-building studies with the dimension of the relationship between peace and religion. In the study, conceptual analysis of the relationship between religion and society within the framework of the sociology of religion was tried to be understood by associating it with the outputs of peacebuilding studies. Qualitative method and document analysis technique were used in the research.</p></trans-abstract>
