                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışma modern yükseköğretim kurumlarının neoliberal dönüşümle birlikte akademik başarıyı salt sayısal metriklere indirgeyen mevcut yapısını ve bu mekanikleşmeye karşı entelektüel bir direniş odağı olarak yükselen “Yavaş Bilim/Akademisyenlik” (Slow Science/Scholarship) paradigmasını ele almaktadır. Özellikle Berg - Seeber ve The Slow Science Academy’nin yaklaşımları ekseninde hareketin temel felsefesi ve ilkeleri incelenmektedir. Çalışma nihayetinde yavaşlık hareketinin yalnızca biçimsel bir yavaşlama değil, akademik özerkliği ve bilimsel derinliği muhafaza etmeyi amaçlayan metodolojik ve etik bir zorunluluk olduğunu savunmaktadır.</p></abstract>

                            <p>This study examines the current structure of modern higher education institutions, which under the influence of neoliberal transformation, have reduced academic success to purely numerical metrics. It focuses on the &quot;Slow Science/Scholarship&quot; paradigm emerging as a locus of intellectual resistance against this mechanization. Within the framework of the approaches put forward by Berg - Seeber and The Slow Science Academy, the philosophy and core principles of the movement are analyzed. Ultimately, the study asserts that the slowness movement is not merely a formal slowing down, but a methodological and ethical necessity aimed at preserving academic autonomy and scientific depth.</p></trans-abstract>
