In this context, it is important to measure women&#039;s attitudes toward fertility. The study aim was to develop an intelligible tool which measure women attitudes toward fertility in Turkey.Material and Method: This methodological study was conducted with 438 women. The construct validity of the scale was tested by exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The study conducted in two phases. The reliability of the scale measured using Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency coefficient, item-total score correlations, and test-retest analysis. Results: The results of the EFA showed a construct consisting of 21 items collected under four- factors. These factors accounted for 59.3% of total variance. Cronbach alpha value was 0.89. Item test correlations were between 0.32-0.67. The CFA yielded 21-item three-factor model. Conclusion: The instrument was a valid and reliable assessment tool that can be used to measure fertility attitudes of women in Turkey.</p>
