Dâvûd-iKarsî (1169/1756) 18. Yüzyıl Osmanlı müderrislerinden olup İslam’ın doğruanlaşılması için klasik medrese geleneğinin hemen hemen her alanında eserlertelif etmiştir. Onun Kelam ilminin temel konularına yönelik görüşleri bir neviEhl-i Sünnet’in görüşlerinin tekrarı olmakla birlikte mensubu olduğu Maturidiekolünün görüşlerini öncelemiştir. Allahın sıfatları ve benzeri konulardakiitikadi görüşlerini mensubu olduğu Maturidi ekolünün genel ilkeleriçerçevesinde yorumlarken Eş’ari ve Maturidi kaynaklardan ayırım yapmaksızınistifade etmiştir. Bu çalışmada Karsî’nin ‘’Risale fi Beyani Sıfatillahi Teala‘’isimli risalesinden hareketle onun kelamcılığı ve Allah’ın sıfatlarıkonusundaki görüşleri üzerinde duracağız.
Dâvûd el- Karsî (1169/1756) is one ofthe 18th century Ottoman scholars and has been copyrighted in virtually everyarea of the tradition of classical madrasa for the correct understanding ofIslam. His previous views on the basic aspects of the Word of God have comebefore Maturidi's view that he belongs to a kind of Ahl al-Sunnah's view as arevolt. While commenting on the general principles of the Maturidian school ofbelief in God's attributes and similar beliefs, Eş'ari and Maturidi havebenefited from the sources without discrimination. He says that all of God's personal attributes are true and permanent. Hemade it clear that the adjectives attributed to God must be translated in a wayworthy of His glory and glory.In this study, will emphasized on hisphilosophy and his views on the attributes of God in the light of Karsi's worktitled "Risale fi Beyani Sıfatillahi Teala"
