The purpose of this study is to explain the historical and religious background of the events in Palestine, the massacre and genocide that Israel has committed against Palestinians, and the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. However, explaining the religious and historical background of the occupation and attacks in Palestine solely through the history of the Israelites would remain superficial. The beliefs and histories of Christians and Muslims are also intertwined with these ancient lands. For this reason, while the wars, conflicts and events that have occurred in Palestine for centuries are discussed, the connection of the three Abrahamic religions with the Holy City of Jerusalem is also included in the scope of the study. Using critical-historical analysis, the study sought to answer the questions of: What is the impact of theology on Israel's current security architecture and what are the effects of Evangelical reading on the US's Israel-focused foreign policy? In this context, an extensive literature review was conducted and sacred texts such as the Torah and the Quran were used. As a result of the research, it is understood that the most important issue for Zionists is the desire to keep the Jewish State they established alive forever. Fear of being exiled again and becoming homeless is among the main reasons for Israel's aggression. For Jews, the exiles were seen not only as a historical event but also as divine punishment for the sins they committed. For this reason, all Muslim countries that may pose a threat to Israel, especially the Palestinian people and state, are seen as enemies.
Bu çalışmanın amacı Filistin’de yaşanan olayların, İsrail’in Filistinlilere uygulamış olduğu katliam ve soykırımın, Filistin topraklarındaki İsrail işgalinin tarihsel ve dini arka planını açıklamaktır. Ancak Filistindeki işgal ve saldırıların dini ve tarihsel arka planını yalnızca İsrailoğullarının tarihi ile açıklamak yüzeysel kalacaktır. Hristiyanların ve Müslümanların inançları ve tarihleri de bu kadim topraklarla içiçe geçmiştir. Bu nedenle yüzyıllardır Filistin’de yaşanan savaş, çatışma ve olaylar ele alınırken üç semavi dinin Kutsal şehir Kudüs ile olan bağlantısı da çalışma kapsamına dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışmada eleştirel-tarihsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak İsrail’in güncel güvenlik mimarisinde teolojinin etkisi ve ABD’nin İsrail odaklı dış politikasında Evanjelik okumanın etkileri nelerdir? sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Bu kapsamda geniş bir literatür taraması yapılarak, Tevrat ve Kur’an-ı Kerim gibi kutsal metinlerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; Siyonistler için en önemli hususun kurdukları Yahudi Devleti’ni sonsuza kadar yaşatma arzusu olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Yeniden sürgün edilme ve yurtsuz kalma korkusu İsrail’in saldırganlığının başlıca nedenleri arasında yer almaktadır. Yahudilere göre yaşanılan sürgünler yalnızca tarihi bir olay değil aynı zamanda işledikleri günahlara karşılık tanrısal bir ceza olarak ta görülmektedir. Bu nedenle başta Filistin halkı ve devleti olmak üzere İsrail’e tehdit oluşturabilecek tüm Müslüman ülkeler düşman olarak görülmektedir.
