Osmanlı Devleti’nin ilgasından sonra Filistin coğrafyasında İngiltere’nin himayesinde Yahudi göçü gerçekleşmiş ve akabinde İsrail Devleti kurulmuştur. Bu durum bölgede sıcak çatışmaları beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada Gazze’nin fiili lideri olan Yahya Sinvar’ın otobiyografik eseri özelinde Filistin-İsrail mücadelesi analiz edilmiştir. İsrail’in bölgedeki işgaline ABD ve Batı kamuoyundaki yansımaları ve bu yansımaların Filistin sahasındaki karşılığının tarihsel altyapısı bu analizin bir parçası olarak ele alınmıştır. Karşılaştırmalı bir analiz örneği olan çalışma, Filistinlilerin siyaset, eğitim, din ve toplumsal yapısı hakkında bilgi vermektedir. Özellikle milli uyanış ve halkın mülteci kamplarında varoluşsal mücadelesi ele alınmıştır. Öte yandan Filistin’deki siyasi fraksiyonlar; Halk Cephesi, El Fetih ve İhvan-ı Müslim’in bölgesel dinamik-ler çerçevesinde Filistin’deki eğitim ve siyasi alanda etkileri Yahya Sinvar’ın gözünden irdelenmiştir.
After the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, Jewish immigration to Palestine took place under British auspices, leading to the establishment of the State of Israel. This situation brought armed conflicts to the region. In this study that is ana-lyzed the Palestinian-Israeli struggle, focusing on the autobiographical work of Yahya Sinwar, the de facto leader of Gaza. The historical background of the Palestinian reaction to Israel’s regional occupation, as well as the reflections of this reaction in the American and Western public spheres, are examined as part of this analysis. This study presents a comparative analysis of Palestinian politics, education, religion, and social structure. In particular, the national awaken-ing and the existential struggle of the people in refugee camps are discussed. Furthermore, the influence of Palestinian political factions—such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Fatah, and the Muslim Brother-hood—on education and politics in Palestine is analyzed from Yahya Sinwar’s perspective.
