                            <p>TAEK’in ana politikası, ülkemize olabilen enbüyük katma değeri sağlamak maksadıyla, nükleer teknolojilerin ülkemizetransfer edilmesiyle birlikte, ülkemizin nükleer teknolojinin ürünlerinden dahaçok faydalanır duruma gelmesini sağlamaktır. Söz konusu hedeften hareketle, ülkemizdenükleer tıpta teşhis amacıyla kullanılan ve hâlihazırda ithal edilmekte olan radyoizotoplarile bunların radyofarmasötiklerinin üretimi, kalite kontrolü ve hasta dozu olarakdağıtımını gerçekleştirmek amacıyla 2012 yılında Sarayköy Nükleer Araştırma veEğitim Merkezi&#039;nde TAEK PHT kurulmuştur. TAEK-PHT’nin devreye alınmasıylabirlikte, radyoizotop ve radyofarmasötik üretimi, kalite kontrolü vearaştırma-geliştirme çalışmalarına yönelik olarak tasarlanan çok amaçlı bir tesisolan hızlandırıcı teknolojileri için önemli bir altyapı Türkiye&#039;de ilk kezkurulmuştur. Bu sayede, yüklü parçacık aktivasyonuna dayanan malzemearaştırmaları, nükleer fizik, endüstriyel uygulamalar üzerine çalışmalar ile aynızamanda hızlandırıcı teknolojileriyle alakalı eğitim çalışmalarının TAEK-PHT’deyapılması hedeflenmektedir. Söz konusu amaçlara uygun olarak, ülkemizdekiüniversite ve enstitülerin protona dayalı uygulama taleplerinin karşılanmasınayönelik olarak gerekli alt yapı oluşturma çalışmalarına TAEA-PHT’de başlanmıştır.Bu bağlamda çalışmanın ilk bölümünde TAEK-PHT Ar-Ge ışınlama odasındaki demethattında, proton demetinin spot, emitans, akım ve enerji parametrelerininölçülebilmesi için yapılan düzenlemeler paylaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikincibölümü olarak ise mevcut Ar-Ge demet hattındaki proton demetinin emitansdeğerinin, kuadrupol varyasyon metodu ile belirlenmesi üzerine elde edilensonuçlar sunulmaktadır.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Main policy of TAEA is to enhance the use ofproducts of nuclear technology by applying it for the utmost benefits ofTurkey. As moving from this goal, TAEA PAF was established at Sarayköy NuclearResearch and Training Center in 2012 in order to produce, quality control andpatient dose distribution of currently imported radioisotopes and theirradiopharmaceuticals which are used for diagnosis purpose for nuclear medicinein Turkey. By the commissioning of TAEA-PAF, an infrastructure for acceleratortechnology with an multi-purpose facility that is designed for radioisotope andradiopharmaceutical production, quality control and research and developmentstudies established in Turkey for the first time. Thus, some studies based oncharged particle applications on material science, nuclear physics, industry andalso training regarding accelerators technologies are projected in TAEA-PAFalso. In accordance with these objectives, the studies have been started atTAEA-PAF to build required infrastructure in order to service for proton basedapplication requests of universities and institutes in our country. The firstpart of the study; it is explained that the arrangements on the existing Beamline1.1 in the TAEA PAF R&amp;amp;D irradiation vault to make it possible to measurethe proton beam parameters such as beam spot, emittance, current and energy. Inthe second part, the results on the determination of the emittance value of theproton beam in the existing R&amp;amp;D Beamline 1.1 by the quadrupole variation methodare presented.</p></abstract>
