                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Buçalışmada Türkiye’de geliştirilmiş ve akarsulara uygulanabilir BaSİt AkarSuMODelleme Programı (SİSMOD) ile Alaşehir Çayı Alt Havzası su kalitesi modelikurularak, modelin performansının değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında SİSMOD’unkalibrasyon ve validasyon dönemlerindeki performansı istatistikseldeğerlendirme metotları ile incelenmiştir. Su kalitesinin mevcut durumudeğerlendirilerek su kalitesinin iyileştirilmesi maksadıyla senaryo modellerioluşturulmuştur. Bu çalışma ile daha az veriye ihtiyaç duyan ve kabuledilebilir doğruluklarda sonuçlar veren yeni ve basit bir su kalitesi modeli önerilmiştir.</p></abstract>
