The primary aim of this study is to examine the levels of exercise addiction and tendencies toward Orthorexia Nervosa among students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences. The sample consisted of male and female students aged 18–22 enrolled at the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Iğdır University. The study employed a quantitative research design, specifically the relational survey model. Data were collected using the Sociodemographic Information Form, the General Health Information Form, the ORTO-15 Scale, and the EAI-21 Scale. The data were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 software. For statistical analyses, independent samples t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Post Hoc tests (Tukey HSD) were applied to determine significant differences. Additionally, Pearson’s correlation test was used to explore the relationships among variables. The findings were evaluated at a 95% confidence interval with a significance level of p < 0.05.The results indicated that, with the exception of the “withdrawal effects” subscale, significant differences were observed across all sub-dimensions of the Exercise Addiction Scale by gender, with male students scoring higher than female students. Furthermore, Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed statistically significant negative associations between Orthorexia Nervosa tendencies and the sub-dimensions of the Exercise Addiction Scale, namely time and exercise preference, withdrawal effects, and tolerance. In conclusion, to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between exercise addiction and Orthorexia Nervosa, future studies should incorporate longitudinal designs as well as qualitative research approaches.
</trans-abstract>

Araştırma, nicel yöntemlerden ilişkisel tarama deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama sürecinde katılımcılara “Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu”, “Genel Sağlık Bilgi Formu”, “ORTO-15 Ölçeği” ve “EBÖ-21 Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, SPSS 23.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sürecinde bağımsız gruplar için t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve anlamlı farklılıkların belirlenmesinde Post Hoc testlerinden Tukey HSD kullanılmıştır.
