                                                                                                <abstract><p>Destinasyonlarınsunmuş olduğu hizmetlere yönelik turistlerin memnuniyet algısı önemliperformans göstergelerinden biridir. Ancak bazen sunulan hizmetten ziyade başkaunsurlardan kaynaklanan memnuniyetsizliklerde oluşabilmektedir. Bu unsurlardanbiriside turistin kişilik yapısıdır. Bazı kişilik özellikleri olumsuzduygulanıma bazıları ise olumlu duygulanıma sebep olmaktadır. Bu, turistlerinmemnuniyet algılarını etkileyebilmektedir. Bu nedenle araştırmada turistlerinkişilik özellikleri ve tolerans düzeylerinin algılanan destinasyon memnuniyetiüzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Gaziantep ve Şanlıurfa&#039;ya gelen 363 yerliturist ile gerçekleştirilen anket çalışması sonucunda turistlerin toleransdüzeyi, deneyime açık ve dışadönük kişilik boyutlarının turist memnuniyetiüzerinde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, turistlerinmemnuniyetsizliklerinin sadece destinasyon hizmetlerinden kaynaklanamayacağıortaya konulmuştur.</p></abstract>
