This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of campus recreation publications in the Web of Science (WoS) database and to present the obtained data to researchers. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, it reveals that research on this subject has shown a significant increase over the years. The 365 studies published between 1987 and 2024 encompass a diverse range of disciplines. The largest number of publications is in the category of hospitality, leisure, sport, and tourism, while the most cited paper is Dickerson et al. 'Using cognitive dissonance to encourage water conservation'. Collaboration analyses between authors show that the United States of America is the country with the highest number of links in this field. Furthermore, the most frequently used keywords were "campus recreation," "higher education," and "satisfaction." These findings demonstrate that research in the field of campus recreation is engaged in extensive interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration and that studies in this field are becoming increasingly significant.
