In this study, the methods and techniques applied by teacher Pınar, who is working in the public sector, in her effort to notice and recognize her dyslexic student and to win him over, were examined. This study is a narrative study from qualitative research designs. In the research, the data was obtained by interview method and after reporting, the opinion of teacher Pınar was consulted again. The data obtained from the interview was organized into 4 themes and 5 sub-themes. According to the results of the study, although teacher Pınar had difficulties in the process regarding her student with dyslexia, she established a very good bond with her student, felt happy because she contributed to his development with the planning she made and the methods she used, and this process contributed to her professional experience. As a result of the research, the competence, readiness and awareness of teachers are extremely important in the education of individuals with learning difficulties. In this way, ignored and forgotten children with dyslexia will be able to benefit from public education. Especially when considered in terms of public education, Pınar's process will be an inspiration to all teachers.
