Aesthetic Rehabilitation of Maxillary Anterior Polydiastema Case with Direct Composite Restorations: Case Report

Öz

Objective: This case report aims to address polydiastema in the maxillary anterior region of a patient
using direct composite resin restorations.
Material and Method: A 22-year-old female patient with diastemas between the 13-12-11-21-22-23 (FDI)
teeth was treated with direct composite restorations. Intraoral photographs were taken, and shade selection was performed using the button technique. Composite restorations were applied, finishing and polishing applied with discs and cups. The procedure took one session. The patient was seen after 6 months.
Conclusion: The patient’s anterior esthetic rehabilitation was achieved with direct composite
restorations, a minimally invasive and effective solution for anterior aesthetics.

Maksiller Anterior Polidiastema Vakasının Direkt Kompozit Restorasyonlarla Estetik Rehabilitasyonu: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Amaç: Bu olgu sunumunun amacı polidiastema şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvuran hastanın maksiller anterior bölgesindeki polidiastemanın kompozit direkt restorasyonlarla tedavisidir.
Birey ve Yöntemler: 22 yaşındaki kadın hastanın 13-12-11-21-22-23 (FDI) numaralı dişleri arasındaki diastemaların direkt kompozit restorasyonlarla tedavisi planlandı. Hastadan ağız içi fotoğraf kayıtları alındı. Button tekniği ile renk seçiminin ardından ilgili dişlere direkt kompozit restorasyonlar uygulandı. Bitirme ve cila için polisaj diskleri ve lastikleri kullanıldı. Restorasyonlar tek seansta bitirildi. Hasta 6 ay sonra kontrole çağırıldı.
Sonuç: Polidiastema şikayetiyle başvuran hastanın anterior estetik rehabilitasyonu direkt kompozit rezin
restorasyonlarla sağlandı. Direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlar anterior estetiği sağlamada minimal
invaziv ve başarılı bir tedavi seçeneğidir.
