This research was conducted to determine the opinions of preschool teacher candidates about the field trip. Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The study group of the research consisted of 36 teacher candidates studying in the 4th grade of the Education Faculty Preschool Education Program of a state university in the Central Anatolia Region in the 2021-2022 academic year. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research. Research data were collected through Google Forms through open-ended questions created by the researchers. The obtained data were analyzed according to the content analysis technique. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the majority of preschool teacher candidates have positive attitudes and opinions towards field trip activities in the preschool period, and they consider field trips important and necessary in the preschool period. In addition, it was concluded that preschool teacher candidates did not receive any training for field trips in the faculty they were educated and did not have the necessary information.

Bu araştırma okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının alan gezisine yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılı İç Anadolu Bölgesinde bir devlet üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesi Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği Programının 4. sınıfında öğrenim gören 5’i erkek 31’i kadın olmak üzere toplam 36 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan açık uçlu sorular aracılığıyla Google Forms üzerinden toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi tekniğine göre çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir çoğunluğunun okul öncesi dönemde yer bulan alan gezisi etkinliklerine karşı olumlu tutum ve görüşe sahip olduğu, alan gezilerini okul öncesi dönemde önemli ve gerekli gördükleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının eğitim aldıkları fakültede alan gezilerine yönelik bir eğitim almadıkları ve gerekli bilgilere sahip olmadıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
