                                                                                                <abstract><p>Geleneksel güvenlik yaklaşımları devlet merkezli bir dünya görüşünü idealize ederken, yeni güvenlik anlayışı büyük ölçüde birey merkezli bir bakış açısına sahiptir. Böylesi bir farklılık, bu iki yaklaşımın güvenliği ele alış biçimlerini derinden etkilemektedir. Bu iki farklı güvenlik anlayışının uluslararası ilişkiler kuramlarındaki karşılığı ise pozitivist kuramlar ve post-pozitivist kuramlardır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın temel sorunsalı; Pozitivist yöntemi benimseyen uluslararası ilişkiler kuramları ile post-pozitivist yöntemi kullanan kuramların güvenlik yaklaşımları arasında benzer yönler var mıdır? Yoksa iki yaklaşım arasındaki farklılaşma/ayrışma çok daha derin epistemolojik ve ontolojik anlamlar mı içermektedir? Bu kapsamda çalışmada uluslararası ilişkiler kuramlarının güvenlik anlayışları karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz edilecektir.</p></abstract>
