The Turkish masnavi tradition, which has completed its development since the 15th century, gives birth to its most beautiful works in 16th century, as a result of the great imagination and high language ability of the poets. The fact that the genre which enables poets to show their talents via literary descriptions is especially lyrical masnavi, has been essential in the selection of works. In 16th century, there was a great development in every aspect so it has been considered in this study in terms of presenting the development and change in language. Language, which is a living being, is a matter of fact shaped according to the period in which it is spoken or written. Based on this fact, in this article, the works named Leylâ ile Mecnûn, Yûsuf ile Zelîhâ, Şem‘ ü Pervâne, Gül ü Bülbül, Gül ü Nevrûz, Hüsrev ü Şîrîn, Vâmık u Azrâ, Veyse vü Râmin, Hüsn ü Dil, Hayâl ü Yâr and Şâh u Gedâ have been studied in the context of description of elements of beauty, in order to analyze the effects of the magnificence of the 16th century in language.In the analyzing of the works under various headings and subtitles, the concepts and contexts that were discovered to be used for the first time in this century have been tried to be interpreted with examples. Original statements and innovations indicates that this study has reached its goal. The concepts examined and determined during the study are important because of the fact that they express the change and development in the field of language and expression
