Muhammad b. Idris al-Shafi’i , (d. 204/819). Who known for hisscientific, religious, primitive, hadith, linguistic also he is a goodpoet. We learn his poetry, from especially his “Divan.” In his “Divan”,which has an important literary work, many subjects are mentioned in terms of both Islamic sciences and social life. Shafi’i expressedhis admiration for the hadith in his “Divan” work: “When you seea man from the living with hadith,You’re going to see one of companionsfrom the Prophet Holy Muhammad. May Allah bless them.Because they have kept us the origin of religion.They gain advantageover us with these features.” After expressing his feelings in thisrespect with these expressions, he continued with poems with thesame feelings. In Shafii’s poetry there are two main foundations ofscience, those are Qur’an and Sunnah. The others is an empty workbut he expressed with in a literary style. As a matter of fact, thisissue has been mentioned by Prophet Holy Muhammad in manyhadiths. In addition, in many of the other poems in the “Divan” ofImam al-Shafi’i, we are witnessing hadith traces. For example, ina hadith of Prophet Holy Muhammad, Someone who says, “Showme the way to gain the love of God and people.” and he said: “Be andevotee to the world, God will love you and be a devotee against thepeople, people will love you.” Imam al-Shafi’i, in the sense of the hadithculture and he has writte poems related asceticism and piety.In this work, we will focus on these and similar poems reflectingthe hadiths, as the view of Imam al-Shafi’i especially in the “Divan.”The hadiths that we will deal with, by identifying their place in hadithsources, we also will analyze them in terms of text and sened.

Önemlibir edebi eser olan “Divan’ında, hem İslâmî ilimler hem de sosyalhayat açısından pek çok konudan bahsedilmektedir. Şafiî, “Divan’ındahadise olan hayranlığını şöyle dile getirmiştir: “Hadis ehlindenbir adam gördüğün zaman, Hz. Muhammed’in (s.a.v.) ashabındanbirini görmüş gibi olursun. Allah onlardan razı olsun. Çünkü onlar,bizler için dinin aslını muhafaza etmişlerdir. Onlar, bu özellikleri ilebize karşı üstünlük kazanmaktadırlar.” O, bu konudaki duygularınıbu ifadelerle dile getirdikten sonra, aynı duygularla şiirine devametmiştir. Şafiî, burada yer alan şiirinde Kur’ân-ı Kerim ve sünnetin,ilmin iki ana temeli olduklarını, bunlara ters düşen ilimlerin ise, boşbir meşgaleden ibaret olduğunu edebi bir üslup ile dile getirmiştir.Nitekim bu husus, Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v.) tarafından pek çok hadistede dile getirilmiştir. Ayrıca İmam eş-Şafiî’nin “Divan’ında yeralan diğer şiirlerinin pek çoğunda, hadis izlerine şahit olmaktayız.Örneğin Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v.) bir hadisinde, “Bana Allah’ın ve insanlarınsevgisini kazanmanın yolunu göster” diyen birine, “Dünyamalına karşı zahit ol, Allah seni sever ve insanların elindekine karşızahit ol, insanlar seni sever” diye cevap vermiştir. İmam eş-Şafiî,bu mana istikametinde hadis kültüründen almış olduğu duygularlazüht ve takva ile ilgili çeşitli şiirler yazmıştır. Bu makalemizde,İmam eş-Şafiî’nin özellikle “Divan’ında mefhum olarak hadisleriyansıtan bu ve benzeri şiirler üzerinde duracağız. Ele alacağımızhadislerin, hadis kaynaklarındaki yerlerini tespit ederek, onlarımetin ve sened açısından da tahlil edeceğiz.
