                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada, Büyük Menderes Nehri önü (B Türkiye) kıta sahanlığına ait bentik foraminifer toplulukları 16 sediman örneğinde sistematik olarak incelenmiştir. Örnekler genellikle çamur ve çakıl-kumdan ibarettir. Toplam 38 familyaya ait 62 cins ve 87 tür tanımlanmış ve yamaç üzerinde 6 bentik foraminifer topluluğu bulunmuştur. Hiyalin kalker kavkılı 6 türün egemen olduğu bu topluluklar sırasıyla; Valvulineria bradyana (Fornasini), Neoeponides bradyi Le Calvez, Ammonia compacta (Hofker), Ammonia tepida (Cushman), Cribroelphidium poeyanum (d’Orbigny) ve Elphidium crispum (Linné) topluluklarıdır. Ayrıca, egemen türlerin CaCO3 konsantrasyonu ile olan ilişkisi incelenmiş ve topluluk içerisindeki dağılımları verilmiştir</p></abstract>
