                                                                                                <abstract><p>Doğu Marmara bölgesi tektonik olarak aktif bir bölgedir. Bununla birlikte bölgenin sismik aktivitesinin kuzey kesiminde yüksekolmasına karşın güney kesiminde çok düşük olması dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışmada sismik aktivite farklılıklarının sebeplerigüncel küresel veri seti olan EGM08 Bouguer anomalileri ve izostazik analizlerle araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle kabuk ve litosferikmanto arasındaki sınıra (Moho) ait anomalilerin dalga boyları ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Moho’dan kaynaklanan anomalilerin tersçözümünden Doğu Marmara bölgesinin Moho geometrisi (gravimetrik Moho) üç boyutlu olarak kestirilmiştir. Son olarak düşeyyüklere karşı bölgesel izostazik tepkiye bağlı olarak hesaplanan izostazik Moho ile gravimetrik Moho arasındaki farklardan kabukdenge oranları haritalanmıştır. Kabuk denge oranları, yerkabuğunun tektonik kuvvetlere karşı gösterdiği tepkinin bir ölçüsü olarak,sismik aktivitenin yüksek veya düşük olmasına yönelik sebeplerle ilgili yeni ve etkin analizler yapılmasına olanak sağlar.&amp;nbsp;</p></abstract>
