Instructions for Authors

International Journal of Scholars in Education (IJSE) is a fully referred international journal that brings scholars of education in a forum that encourages sharing of ideas and research.

The template for manuscript can be downloaded here.

The manuscripts submitted to the IJSE should be prepared according to APA 6 guidelines.

1. Submission

The submission should be made through online submission system at any time throughout the year. No hard copy is required.

2. Language

The language of the manuscript can be in Turkish or in English (either American or British standard, but not the mixture of both).


3. Length of paper

The length of the paper should not exceed 30 pages.


4. Abstract

A concise and factual abstract is required (maximum length of 200- 250 words). The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions.


5. Keywords

Immediately after the abstract, provide 3- 6 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of').


6. References

Author(s) should follow the latest edition of APA.

Citations in the Text

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Please avoid citation in the abstract.


Reference List

References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters "a", "b", "c", etc., placed after the year of publication.
