PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT

YUZUNCU YIL UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES (YYUJAGRSCI) is both a paper-based and electronic peer reviewed international journal trying to have the highest standards of publication ethics. For that, we affirm the following principles of Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

If malpractice is discovered at any time even after the publication, the articles not in accordance with these standards will be removed from the publication. YYUJAGRSCI is checking all papers in a double-blind peer review process. We also check for plagiarisms, research fabrication, falsification and improper use of any organisms in research. We will also report any cases of suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing.  YYUJAGRSCI reserves the right to use plagiarism-detecting software to screen submitted papers at all times.

 

Author’s responsibilities: They must guarantee that they have written original works. Moreover, they must make sure that the manuscript has not been submitted and evaluated elsewhere at the same time. Literatures of the other researchers, all contributors and sources (including online sites) should be appropriately credited and referenced. All submitted manuscripts should be edited for language. All references should be cited without been copied or plagiarized. If needed, any financial sources or other conflict of interest should be disclosed. In order to correct the paper, any significant error or inaccuracy in the published works should be notified by the related authors. An author agrees to the license agreement before submitting the article. All articles must be submitted using online submission procedure. Submitting a paper simultaneously to more than one publication at a time is a violation of publications ethics.

 

Editorial responsibilities: Editors along with Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board have publication decision. Editors must guarantee a fair double-blind peer-review of the submitted articles for publication. They have to prevent any potential conflict of interests between the author and editors and reviewers. They have to guarantee confidentiality of submitted articles before publishing.

Editor-in-Chief will coordinate the work of the editors.

 

Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers: They have to review the manuscripts based on content without regard to ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, religious belief or political philosophy of the authors. They have to guarantee confidentiality of submitted articles before publishing.  They have to report any plagiarisms, research fabrication, falsification and improper use of any organisms in research to the editors and/or the Editor-in-Chief. They have to review the papers objectively and state their opinions clearly in the forms and on the paper. A reviewer having inadequate time or feeling unqualified should notify the editors as soon as possible and excuse her/him-self from the review process.
