Yeni Nesil Kablosuz Ağ Teknolojisi: Wimax Standardının İncelenmesi

Öz

Wimax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) teknolojisi, Wimax Forum tarafından çeşitli standartları geliştirilen, geniş alanda iletişim sağlayan bir kablosuz ağ teknolojisidir. Çalışma boyunca Wimax hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Wimax Standartları, Wimax Şebeke Yapısı, Wimax Katmanları, Wimax Hizmet Kalitesi ve Wimax Güvenlik konularına değinilmiştir.

New Generation Wireless Technology: Investigation of Standards Wimax

Öz

Wimax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) technology is a wireless technology whose standards are developed by Wimax Forum and which provides wide area communication. During the paper, information about Wimax is given. Wimax standards, network structure, layers, service quality, and security issues are mentioned.
