Bio
I received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2006, 2008, and 2013, respectively. From 2012 to 2017, I have been a researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul. From 2014 to 2015, I were also a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. Later, I joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Mugla, Turkey in 2017 where I obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2020.
I am an Associate Editor of several journals including IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, IET Renewable Power Generation, Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering Computer Sciences and Elsevier e-Prime, and the Editor-in-Chief of Mugla Journal of Science and Technology. I am also the Co-Editor of the book entitled Pathways to a Smarter Power System (Academic Press, 2019). My research interests include among others forecasting, renewable energy, power system operation, smart grid, and demand response.
