Bio
Dr. Aslı Gül Öncel is a faculty member of the Management Department, Director of the Business Research Center at Galatasaray University in İstanbul, Turkey and member of academic council of ATINER institute in Athens, Greece. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Galatasaray University. She received her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Sciences from Picardie Jules Verne University in Amiens, France and one year of post-doctorate at University of Québec at Trois Rivières (UQTR) in Canada. She served as the organizing committee member of the 2013 European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference in İstanbul. Since 2009, she has been teaching statistics, applied statistics and energy and environment politics at Galatasaray University. Her principal research interests are focused on sustainable development, climate change and environment.
