José Luis Echenausía Monroy earned his bachelor's degree in electronics in 2015 from the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG). In 2017 and 2020, he earned his master's and doctorate degrees in Science and Technology with a minor in Optoelectronics, also from Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG), Centro Universitario de los Lagos (CULagos). In 2016, he attended CTB (Centro de Tecnología Biomédica) in Madrid, where he worked in the Biological Networks Research Group. From 2018 to 2019, he completed a research stay in the Biodynamics and Nonlinear Dynamics Research Group at IPICYT (Instituto Potosino de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica). Since January 2021, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Applied Physics at CICESE (Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada). His current research interests include chaotic systems (integer and fractional order), electronic implementations, multi-scroll attractors, multi-stable behavior, physical interpretation of fractional derivatives, synchronization, and complex networks.
