Türkiye Kaynaklı Uzaktan Eğitim Araştırmalarına Genel Bakış

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye kaynaklı uluslararası dergilerde yayınlanan uzaktan eğitim çalışmalarının incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, Scopus indeksinde taranan uluslararası dergilerde yayınlanan ve Türkiye’de yapılan uzaktan eğitimle ilgili çalışmalar, bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmaların seçiminde Türkiye kaynaklı olması, uzaktan eğitimle ilgili olması ve makale kategorisinde bulunması dikkate alınmıştır. Scopus veri tabanı kullanılarak yapılan tanımlamada 1716 dokümana ulaşılmış, editör yazıları, kitap bölümleri hariç tutulmuş, dergilerdeki İngilizce ve Türkçe yayınlardan sadece açık erişimi olanlar incelenmiştir. Bu şekilde analize dâhil edilen 568 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Covid-19 salgını uzaktan eğitim araştırmalarını olumlu yönde etkilediği, yayınların Türkiye kaynaklı “Turkish Online Journal Of Distance Education” dergisinde yoğunlaştığı, Anadolu Üniversitesi ile Sakarya Üniversitesi başta olmak üzere yurt dışından birkaç üniversitenin kurumlararası işbirliği ağında yer aldığı, ortak yazarlıkta ön plana çıkan ve en fazla atıf yapılan araştırmacının Aras Bozkurt, ortak atıf analizi (kurum) incelendiğinde ise en fazla atıf yapılan kurumun Anadolu Üniversitesi olduğu, bunu Siirt Üniversitesi’nin, Gazi Üniversitesi’nin ve Ortadoğu Teknik Üniversitesi’nin takip ettiği görülmüştür. Analizlere dâhil edilen yayınlarda en fazla kullanılan anahtar kelimeler sırasıyla uzaktan eğitim, covid-19, uzaktan öğrenme, online öğrenme, makine öğrenme, derinlemesine öğrenme, yükseköğretim ve e-öğrenme şeklindedir.

Ethical Statement

Yapılan bu çalışmada “Yükseköğretim Kurumları Bilimsel Araştırma ve Yayın Etiği Yönergesi” kapsamında davranılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler herkese açık olduğu için etik izine ihtiyaç duyulmamıştır.
