Personal InformationForm, Self-Compassion Scale (SCS), Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWS) and Body Image Scale (BIS) were used to collect data. Results: The average age of women was 67.71 ± 2.47. Women's PWS mean score was 27.18±8.41; SCS mean score was 3.15±1.05; BIS mean score was found to be 126.05±31.75. It was determined that an increase in the level of self-compassion statistically increased the level of psychological well-being. In the study, it was determined that the increase in the self-compassion level (β=0.829; p<0.05) and body image satisfaction (β=0.262; p<0.05) of the elderly women statistically increased the level of psychological well-being. Yöntem: Araştırmanın verileri Ocak-Nisan 2022 tarihleri arasında elektronik anketler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Dâhil edilme kriterlerini karşılayan 135 kadın ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Verilerinin toplamasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Öz-Şefkat Ölçeği (ÖŞÖ), Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği (PİOÖ) ve Beden İmajı Ölçeği (BİÖ) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Kadınların yaş ortalaması 67.71 ± 2.47’dir. Kadınların PİOÖ puan ortalaması 27.18±8.41; ÖŞÖ puan ortalaması 3.15±1.05; BİÖ puan ortalaması 126.05±31.75 olarak bulunmuştur. Öz-şefkat düzeyinin artması psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyini istatistiksel olarak artırdığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmada, yaşlı kadınların öz-şefkat düzeyinin (β=0.829; p<0.05) ve beden imajı memnuniyetinin (β=0.262; p<0.05) yükselmesinin psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyini istatistiksel olarak artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Yaşlı kadınlarda psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyinin düşük olduğu; öz-şefkatin ve beden imajının psikolojik iyi oluş üzerinde yordayıcı role sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Dolayısıyla sağlık profesyonelleri yaşlı kadınların psikolojik iyi oluşu düzeyini yükseltmek için vücuduna nasıl bakacakları ve beden bilincini nasıl geliştirecekleri, kendine nasıl şefkatli davranacakları konusunda danışmanlık yapması önerilir.
