ORTA ÇAĞ'DA DOĞA ve BİTKİ TEMSİLLERİ: MAHLUKATNAMELERDEN HERBARYUMLARA GEÇİŞ

Abstract

Makale, doğa ve bitkilerin Orta Çağ'dan Rönesans'a kadar olan temsilindeki değişimleri incelemektedir. Özellikle, antik kaynaklardan ilham alan mahlukatnamelerden bitki kitaplarına ve bilimsel botanik çalışmalarına doğru olan dikkate değer geçişi odak noktasına almaktadır. Makale bu dönüşümü şekillendiren kültürel, sosyal ve entelektüel faktörlerin araştırmakta ve etkilerini açıklığa kavuşturmaktadır. Ayrıca, bu dönemde bitkilerin tasvirinde kullanılan tekniklerin ve görsel dilin evrimini analiz edilmektedir. Bitki temsiline daha sistemli bir yaklaşım olan botanik kitaplarının ortaya çıkışını araştırmakta ve bu dönemin büyüyen bilimsel eğilimini yansıtılmaktadır. Antik algılama biçimlerinden paradigmatik bir değişimin ortaya çıktığı ve sembolik, alegorik ve dini anlamların bilimsel gözlem biçimleri içinde çözüldüğü ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu görsel dönüşüm, seküler dünyanın inşasında önemli bir rol oynayarak, zaman içinde doğadan elde edilen bilginin yavaşça süzülmesine katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu çalışma, doğa ve bitkilerin temsili alanında gerçekleşen kültürel, entelektüel ve görsel dönüşümleri daha derinlemesine anlamamıza katkıda bulunan bir inceleme sunmaktadır.
