Sanat Yazıları

Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Journal of Sanat Yazıları is a national peer-reviewed journal published twice yearly (May and November). The publication languages are Turkish and English. Articles submitted for publication in Sanat Yazıları are evaluated by two referees who are experts in the relevant field after a preliminary review by the Editorial Board and published if a positive report is received from both referees. In cases where one referee gives positive feedback and the other gives negative feedback, the article is reviewed by a third referee. Articles submitted to the Journal of Sanat Yazıları must not have been published elsewhere before. Articles not complying with the Publication Principles and Article Writing Guidelines will not be considered for evaluation. The journal does not charge any fees to authors or institutions under any name and circumstances.

(Articles must be uploaded to the system in two copies: one with the author’s name and the other one without a title as anonymous.)

Articles that do not adhere to the Article Writing Guidelines and templates will be rejected by the Editorial Board. Regardless of the order of authorship, each author may have only one manuscript accepted for publication in a single issue. Furthermore, regardless of the order of authorship, an author whose manuscript is published in a given issue is not eligible to have another manuscript considered for publication in the immediately subsequent issue. If a publication is derived from a graduate thesis and is co-authored with the thesis supervisor, the student must be listed as the first author and the supervisor as the second author.
