Istranca Deresi (İstanbul)’ndeki Tatlısu Kefalinin [Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758)] Yaş ve Büyüme Özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Istranca Deresi’nde yaşayan tatlısu kefali [Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus,
1758)] populasyonunun büyüme biyolojisi incelenmiştir. Mart 2012 ile Haziran 2013 tarihleri
arasında dere üzerindeki 6 istasyondan aylık olarak elektroşok cihazı yardımıyla
avcılık gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen S. cephalus bireylerinin boy, ağırlık, yaş, eşey dağılımları
ve oranları, yaş-boy, yaş-ağırlık, boy-ağırlık ilişkileri, von Bertalanffy parametreleri,
fulton kondisyon faktörü değerleri incelenmiştir.
Türün yaş dağılımının 0 ile VII yaş grupları arasında değiştiği gözlenmiştir. Total boy değerleri
tüm bireylerde 2,6-30,1 cm; ağırlık değerleri ise 0,14-352,50 g arasında değişmiştir.
Dişi-erkek oranı 1:2,76 olarak saptanmıştır. Tüm bireylerde; boy-ağırlık ilişkisi
W=0,0078TL3,15 olarak, von Bertalanffy büyüme parametreleri L∞, W∞, K ve t0 sırasıyla
42,18 cm, 1023,97 g, 0,137 ve -0,576 olarak belirlenmiştir. Tüm bireylerde aylara göre
fulton kondisyon faktörü değeri en düşük 2013 Şubat ayında (0,908), en yüksek ise 2012
Haziran ayında (1,222) bulunmuştur.

Length, Weight and Age Characteristics of Chub [Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758)] in the Istranca Brook (İstanbul)

Abstract

In this study, growth biology of chub [Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758)] population
living in Istranca Brook has been studied. Sampling was carried out monthly in 6 sites on
the stream by electrofishing between March 2012 and June 2013. Length, weight, age, sex
distribution and ratios, age-length, age-weight, length-weight relationships, von Bertalanffy
parameters, fulton condition factor values of S. cephalus individuals were investigated.
Age distribution of the species varied between 0 and VII. Total length and weight values
of all individuals varied between 2.6-30.1 cm and 0.14-352.50 g respectively. The femalemale
ratio was 1:2.76. Length-weight relationship and von Bertalanffy growth parameters
in all individuals were determined as W=0.0078TL3.15 and L∞, W∞, K and t0 as 42.18 cm,
1023.97 g, 0.137 and -0.576, respectively. Monthly fulton condition factor value in all
individuals was lowest in February 2013 (0.908) and highest in June 2012 (1.222).
