Abstract
Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin) was born in 1870 at Simbirsk on the middle Volga, in Russia. Lenin had a normal middle-class education. He died in January 1924, at the age of fifty-three. The author Christopher Hill (1912-2003) is a British historian. Hill has been considering Lenin as the theorist, organizer and leader of revolt. Barely a quarter of the book to discuss his seven years’ work as the head of the first socialist state in the world. Lenin and the Russian Revolution examines the background to and the course of the Russian Revolution of 1917 and Lenin's regime. In this book Hill, offers a comprehensive cultural, political, economic and social history of developments in Russia in the 1920's. This study examines the key events in history, Lenin and the Russian Revolution.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin) 1870’te Rusya’da orta Volga’dai Simbirsk’te doğdu. Lenin normal bir orta sınıf eğitimi aldı. 1924’te Ocak ayında 53 yaşında öldü. Yazar Christopher Hill (1912-2003) bir İngiliz tarihçisidir. Hill, Lenin’i bir devrim teorisyeni, düzenleyicisi ve lideri olarak değerlendirmiştir. Dünyanın ilk sosyalist devletinin başı olarak onun (Lenin’in) yedi yıllık çalışması kitabın sadece çeyreğinde tartışılmıştır. Lenin ve Rusya Devrimi, Lenin’in rejimi ve 1917 Rusya Devriminin arka planını ve gidişatını incelemektedir. Hill, bu kitabında 1920’lerde Rusya’da yaşanan gelişmelerin kapsamlı bir kültürel, politik, ekonomik ve sosyal tarihini sunuyor. Bu çalışma Lenin ve Rus Devrimi’nin tarihteki önemli olaylarını incelemektedir.
