ÇALIŞANLARIN “YEŞİL” DAVRANIŞLARINI ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLER VE TEORİK AÇIKLAMALARI

Öz

İşletmelerin üretim, işletme ve yönetim modellerinin neden olduğu çevresel sorunlar giderek ekolojik çevrenin hızla bozulmasına yol açarken toplum işletmelerin yeşil yönetim geliştirmesi ve çevresel sürdürülebilirliği sağlayabilmesi için yeni gereksinimler ortaya koymuştur. Bu durum işletmeler üzerinde çevresel sürdürülebilirlik yönünde baskı oluşturmuştur. Dolayısıyla toplumsal endişe ve tartışma konusu haline gelen çevre koruma ve çevresel sürdürülebilirlik araştırmacıların dikkatini çeken başlıca konulardan biri haline gelmiştir. Çevre sorunlarının temel kaynağı insan davranışları olduğundan çevresel sürdürülebilirliği sağlamak amacıyla çalışanların yeşil davranışlarına odaklanan çalışmalar yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Çalışanların yeşil davranışı; çevre üzerindeki olumsuz etkiyi azaltmak ve çevresel sürdürülebilirliğe katkıda bulunmak için çalışanlar tarafından uygulanan bir davranış dizisidir. Araştırmacılar tarafından çalışanların yeşil davranışları üzerine yapılan bir dizi çalışmayla çalışanların yeşil davranışlarının öncülleri giderek kişisel faktörlerden (duygular, tutumlar) durumsal faktörlere (liderlik davranışı, yeşil iklim) doğru genişlemiştir. Ancak mevcut araştırmalar çalışanların yeşil davranışlarını gözden geçirmiş olsa da çalışanların yeşil davranışları ile bunları etkileyen değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin teorik temelleri de analiz edilmeli ve öncül değişkenlerin çalışanların yeşil davranışlarını nasıl etkilediği netleştirilmelidir. Literatür incelemesi şeklinde yapılan bu araştırma ile beş boyutlu yeşil çalışan kavramı ele alınarak, yapısı gözden geçirilmiş ve çalışanların yeşil davranışı teorilere dayalı olarak açıklanmış, mantığı sistematik hale getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın yeni araştırmacılara referans ve ilham kaynağı olurken uygulayıcılara yol gösterici olacağı umulmaktadır.
